From Franklin County Sheriff’s Office
Louisburg — On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigation Division arrested Franklin County resident, Antwone Joubert Burgess, charging him with eight (8) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
These charges followed an extensive investigation conducted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations Computer Crimes Unit and the Louisburg Police Department.
Antwone Joubert Burgess was placed on a $500,000 secured bond and is held at Franklin County Detention Center. The investigation remains active and additional charges are pending.
