Louisburg Police arrested a man for kidnapping his daughter.
On Friday, March 3, a Louisburg High School counselor reported to the school resource officer a student had been kidnapped by her estranged father.
The student was able to get away and she reported the incident to the counselor.
The Louisburg Police Department initiated an investigation which led to the arrest of Brian Murray, Louisburg, on Sunday, March 5.
Murray was charged with kidnapping and held without bond.
