An oddly parked vehicle resulted in a Lake Royale man’s arrest on several outstanding warrants.
Larry Pruitt, Jr., of Lake Royale, was arrested by Lake Royale Police Sgt. S. Tiberio on Tuesday, Feb. 7 after observing a vehicle parked partially on the roadway with the driver’s door open. Tiberio was on patrol and spotted the vehicle around 11:18 p.m.
Tiberio ran a check on the car and then made contact with the owner Larry Pruitt, Jr.
After verifying Pruitt had several outstanding warrants from Alamance and Vance counties, Tiberio placed the subject in custody, without incident, and delivered him to the Franklin County Detention Center.
Pruitt had outstanding warrants for first degree burglary and misdemeanor larceny in Alamance County and failure to appear on traffic charges in Vance County.
